Bear / Bore / Borne

The word of day is "bear".

It has two meanings: one is to tolerate or endure and the other is an animal. We will be focusing here on the first one.

Usage:
- I bear with a smile whenever my son wets his pant, because he is still learning.
- I am bearing the consequences of signing up for this exam without planning ahead.
- Karna bore the consequences of supporting Duryodhan in the great war.
- The customer bore with me for five minutes as I was pulling out details, before he hung up the phone.

With have/has - use "borne":
- If you could have just borne with me and listened carefully you could have cleared the test.
- He has borne the consequences of his decisions.
